TUKI INDUSTRIAL WIND FARM

Wind ‘farms’ are implemented
in the name of environmental
care, but people need to do
more research into their viability and efficiency. Too much faith is being put into their ability to substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We strongly believe that the dubious benefits of wind turbines at Smeaton are
far outweighed by the negative effects of their installation. Let’s think bigger about how we can clean up our environment, and more importantly, how we choose to live and use energy. We all know the damage caused
by quick solutions to complex
problems. Remember the cane toad and the carp...
Let’s not make more mistakes for our children to clean up. In 20 years time these dysfunctional, obsolete, 144 metre-high skyscrapers set in over 600 tonnes of cement will remain on our landscape forever more.
